I used the Waite-Smith deck for our Week Ahead Tarot draw. The cards that came up for us are the Seven of Cups and Eight of Pentacles. Their message, it’s time to make a choice and get to work. Our choice may not be an easy one though.
When we see an image in the Tarot with his/her back to us, like in our Seven of Cups. it symbolizes moving away from something. This card tells us it is time to take a look at the options before us this week and carefully choose what resonates with the path we are traveling. Clarity and honesty will be essential as we don’t necessarily want to choose the biggest brightest item. We want what will be the most fulfilling and successful in the long run.
The Eight of Pentacles lets us know, once our choice has been made it’s time to focus and get to work. This is a card of structure, discipline and mastery. We need to get busy setting goals, formulating a plan and acquiring the things we need to take that idea, project or dream and make it our own.
