I have written several articles about various members of the Calcite clan. There have been several articles. Some of them are about Orange, Yellow, Green, Honey, Pink and Optical Calcite to name a few. Today the crystal being discussed is Blue Calcite.
Blue Calcite can be found in Africa, Brazil, India and Mexico. The crystals can be translucent or opaque. Like all Calcite this is a soft 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale and it works well with the Throat and 3rd Eye Chakras.
Some of the qualities Blue Calcite has to offer are:

- Helps activate the Third Eye Chakra.
- Strengthens your intuition.
- Said to help lower blood pressure.
- Releases negative energy by absorbing it, transmuting it to positive energy and then giving it back to you.
- Helps remove joint pain.
