11/11The Lantern is Lit

Energetically, things have been more than a little crazy lately. As Earths energy rises, the pressure within us to make changes in our lives increases. The desire to let go of those people, thoughts, beliefs and things that no longer serve us gets stronger. I’ve mentioned before that this cycle of transformation began back in July with the eclipses, and it will continue through the end of the year into 2020.

Feeding into this cycle are a couple of significant events this week. It begins with the 11/11 Portal tomorrow. In numerology the number 11 is the lantern that lights the way to higher consciousness. It’s the number of enlightenment, growth, spiritual truth, and intuition. An awakening to new potential! We are being invited to be brave, to make the changes we need to make, and to think bigger. The number 11 also give us a connection to our spirit guides, our guardians and ascended masters who are always available to assist us.

The second event is rare, and tomorrow. It’s a very wonderful thing for us all, the is the Transit of Mercury across the sun. The last transit was back in 2016; the next won’t be until 2032. When this transit happens it’s like a rebirth, raising our consciousness. We need to remember that Mercury is currently retrograde in Scorpio until the 21st. This adds an interesting twist to what the transit is offering. As the planet of communication, it will send us inward and deepen our connection with body mind and spirit. It will open us to new levels of reality beyond what we experience in 3D. Expect flashes of clarity, roadblocks to clear, and confidence to grow.

Mercury, as I said, is retrograde in the sign of Scorpio. this adds an element of interest for us because it is a fixed water sign. Scorpio is passionate, brave and resourceful. It also is very much about truth. This sign will not allow us to fool ourselves. Be willing to see the truth, and brave enough to step out of your comfort zone.

Both of these events lead into the Full Moon on Tuesday and Wednesday. The full moon is a time for letting go, and this is absolutely what this portal we are traveling is encouraging us to do. Use the energy of Mercury’sTransit and the Retrograde to examine where you are right now compared to where you want to be. What is holding you back? Pay attention to your thoughts. Are they fear based, telling you, you can’t acccomplish your goal? Are you being told by others that your dream is impossible? Acknowledge fears, negative thinking or beliefs; then release. Embrace instead the belief that you can. It will take committment and time but know you will!
