Today’s Daily Draw

Ignoring problems doesn’t help. It certainly won’t make them go away. We all know that for whatever reason we occasionally do our best to not see them. As much as we might wish we could forget about them, today’s cards The Sacred Tree and The Necklace and Wampum, are hinting that we’re going to have to deal with a person or situation that we wish we could just ignore. The Sacred Tree talks to us about overcoming obstacles. The Necklace and Wampum speak to us about creating alliances.

The guidance our cards have for us is to not hide from our problems. We need to ask ourselves what we’re afraid of. What is the worst thing that can happen? Chances are, it’s not as bad as we think. Remember that everything is connected. There is light and dark in all of us, and there are good and bad aspects in every situation. If we can let go of any preconceived ideas, we have about what we are dealing with today, we can get a fresh perspective. With that clarity we can see the path through the issue to it resolution. The reality is, the person we might be having a problem with might have a better way of doing something or just the advice we need, and honest communication could make them a powerful supporter if we give them a chance. Seeing a problematic situation from every angle could reveal possibilities we didn’t see before because we were wrapped up in how we thought things should go.

Be willing to face whatever issues we may have head on. Be honest, willing to look at every aspect. Don’t be afraid to get advice. Know that dealing with it now is better than later when there might be more fallout to deal with.
