Kyanite is a rare gemstone, Green Kyanite is even more rare, and the subject of today’s crystal post. Known as the “Stone of Attunement” this high vibrational gem is found in several countries around the world. Some of the best sources are Brazil, Burma, and India. Like other colors, the Mohs scale of hardness for Green Kyanite ranges from 4.5 to 6.5 and it works very well with the High Heart Chakra.
Kyanite as a family of crystals doesn’t hold negative energy, so it never needs to be cleared like other crystals might. It also instantly clears and aligns the Chakras. The feeling is quite a powerful one that can be felt right away when picking up a piece and holding it. When using as a tool for healing during a Reiki session Green Kyanite will open and release energy blocks.
