Calcite is an interesting mineral. A little over a year ago I did a post about Yellow Calcite and it’s benefits to our lives. I have several other samples of this family of mineral, so I thought I would add to the calcite story today with its sibling Green Calcite.
Being a limestone-based mineral, calcite can be found in several colors like orange, red, pink, brown, clear and black, just about everywhere we find limestone. Some of the locations are Mexico, Brazil, Germany and the US. On the Mohs scale it comes in at a soft 2.5 – 3.
Green Calcite works with the Heart Chakra to bring balance and peace to our body, mind and spirit. Its energy helps us be compassionate and understanding of others as well as ourselves. It helps us have the strength we need to let go of emotional issues we’ve been hanging onto. It helps us release anger, stress and beliefs holding us back.
Calcite is a transformer mineral. By helping us let go of built up negative energy and beliefs Green Calcite will help us manifest our dreams.
Putting a piece under our pillow will help remember dreams more clearly.
