The Weekend Ahead

It’s looking like we are going to have some issues to work out this weekend. The underlying energy for the weekend is coming from the Five of Wands. There is likely to be some conflict, whether it is within ourselves or in a relationship between family or friends. Either way we could have some emotional stuff going on.

Friday: As our day begins with the Three of Swords. In the Tarot this suit governs the Air Element and rules our intellect, our logic and how we communicate. It is a powerful kingdom because thoughts have power to affect change. The message of this card is, it may be time to consider the course of a relationship. We need to wake up and pay attention. It is literally telling us to get to the heart of the matter. Now all relationships have some amount of pain with them. It is a part of life and our process of learning and growth. This doesn’t mean we have to continue in a situation that is not working, it may be time to make a decision for change.

Saturday: The Magician is one of my favorite cards in the Rider Waite deck. There are certainly a good many very positive cards, and no card is, or has, a bad meaning. But, the message of the Magician is both inspiring and Loving. When he comes into the picture of our lives he tells us we can do it. We have the skills to create whatever change we want to manifest into our lives. We are already what we seek, we just have to believe it and bring that reality in. Don’t stop! The power is within, keep going!!

Sunday: Brings us a new beginning with the Ace of Wands. This Ace is a kind of promise. Wands are the fire element, so they are about passion, creation and movement. The message is to get going!

Remember the underlying energy from the Five of Wands is about some kind of conflict. The card shows us a small creek beneath the combatants, telling us we are emotionally invested in whatever we are working through this weekend. We also see that no physical damage is being done. We will have to talk it over with someone, perhaps the person we are having our issue with and come to a decision.
