The one constant of life is that things change and change can cause confusion. The Seven of Cups tells us we may find ourselves facing a change leaving us lost in a fantasy of what might be or tempted by potential opportunities that might be an illusion rather than a reality. Our challenge today comes from the Two of Pentacles. He tells us to get beyond any confusion we have and to be realistic. It’s the only way we will be able to find a balance.
Our message is to re-examine our goals and understand what it is that is motivating us. Do we want to continue on the old tried and true path or go with something new? Perhaps a mixture of both is what will work for us. Ultimately if we want to make any kind of ground today we must know what skills we have, then make a choice based on what our realistic goals are.

I chose Rutilated Quartz and Smokey Quartz to accompany our cards. Rutilated Quartz will help us gain the insight to get to the root of our confusion and clear it up. Smokey Quartz has a grounding aspect that could be useful to us as we move through our day. This will help us release any negative energy and find the balance we need.
