The underlying energy of the day today is coming from the Chariot. This is the eighth card in the Major Arcana and is a card of movement and overcoming obstacles. Our bottom card is telling us we may be feeling like we need to find more balance and control in our lives. Sometimes that means walking away and this is the message of our main card, the Eight of Cups.
The image on the Eight of Cups shows us a man who has made a conscious decision to leave everything that he once held dear. We see this in the neatly organized cups and the calm water that he crossed as he moves off into the distance. The only hint of emotion is seen in the moon; Being both full and waning tells us that his decision was one he gave great thought to but once made, he knew it was the right one.
Our cards are telling us that we may find ourselves in a situation in either our work or personal lives where our only choice is to move away from the situation. Maybe we have been giving of our time and effort for little or no return. We could have a confusing or disappointing issue that requires time to think and if we look at our situation from a different angle we might find a solution, or maybe its just time to leave and call it quits. Whatever the decision is our bottom card tells us we are protected and if we keep going we will find what we’re looking for.

In numerology the number nine is about completion. It brings us to a doorway that opens to a new beginning. Let this energy help us make the choice to step away and think or just walk away to a new beginning.

I chose three crystals today. Smokey Quartz to ground us and help us release any negative energy we may be holding. Malachite to help us draw out any old thought patterns and beliefs that may have put us in this situation. Then deal with them and let them go. The final choice is Kyanite, it’s energy will give us clarity to help release emotional blocks and let them go.
