Soapstone, also called Steatite, has been used by many cultures for thousands of years. The Ancient Egyptians, Vikings and Native Americans are some of the people who have used this stone.
It is found all over the world. A few of the countries are Brazil, Finland, China, Australia and the United Stated. This is a soft stone, the MOHS scale has it at 1 to 2.5. The colors range from White, Gray, Green and Browns.
The energy is very soothing and balancing. It helps to create positive energy. Some of the other qualities are:
