Celestite in The Morning Light

Celestite, also known as Celestine is a cool blue, translucent crystal that is often found in geode form. It’s interesting that when processed the mineral strontium can be obtained. This mineral is used in the manufacture of fireworks and burns red. If I understood more of the science I could explain the how behind a blue crystal producing something that burns red, but I don’t!

This high vibrational crystal can be found in Madagascar, Europe and the US. The best quality, based on the color is mined in Madagascar and the hardness on the MOHS scale is 3-3.5. It was discovered in Sicily in 1781, then again here in the US in 1791 by Abraham Werner and named Celestite. The story goes that the sky blue color prompted its name.

Being blue this crystal works very well with the Throat Chakra making it excellent for communication. It also works with the Third Eye and Crown Chakras allowing for work with our guides and expanding our intuition, Brings inner peace, mental clarity and a feeling of calm. Some of the other qualities of this crystal are:

  • It lifts our mood
  • It heals our Aura and our Astral Body
  • Relieves stress and anxiety
  • It helps release obsessive behaviour
  • It helps us go with the flow of life

Physically Celestite helps the that are within the upper Chakras.

I love the energy of Celestite. If you feel like this crystal might be something you would like to work with, I invite you to find a piece that resonates with you and give it a try. Keep in mind I am not a doctor and am not in any way suggesting you give up conventional medicine. I only off this information to enhance your life.

Blessed Be ❤ Sharon
