Lapis Lazuli’s powerful energy has been highly prized since ancient times. The Ancient Egyptians used this beautiful stone for jewelry and to decorate their sarcophagus’. Lapis Lazuli is made from a combination of Lazurite with inclusions of Pyrite, Mica and Calcite. This is a fairly rare mineral that can be found in India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, Chile and Colorado. I did read that there have been some deposits in Canada.
Within the Chakra system Lapis Lazuli work well with the Throat Chakra to clear blockages. It also works with the Third Eye and the Solar Plexus Chakras. The energy cleans the mental body of old thought forms and helps release karmic patterns and prevent any negative thoughts from becoming what could be a future karmic situation.
Lapis Lazuli is an excellent tool for communication. If you take a piece into a group meeting situation it will help everyone speak and listen better. It helps change negative views into positive ones and brings focus to the changes we want to make, then take the appropriate action to make them happen.
The energy will bring us courage, self-confidence; it will help us see the best in others and teach us compassion and humanity.
