Well, we have two Major Arcana cards again today and they seem to be picking up where yesterday’s left off. Our card is the Big Medicine Wheel. This is the final card of the Major Arcana, it tells us we have completed a journey. Where there is an ending we also have a beginning. When this card comes up it tells us there is a big change on the horizon and a promise of success. Our card challenges us to leave the old behind and embrace the new. We have come into our power and achieved an understanding of who we are and what we want. Now we take this information and transition to the next phase.
Our bottom card is Vision Quest; in a more traditional deck this is the Hanged Man. The message of Vision Quest is change. Changing beliefs, values and there is a special focus on perspectives. During any journey we learn things about ourselves. What we like, what works and doesn’t work for us. We discover what we are capable of and what we expect our future to look like. Something could happen today that will challenge what we believe or what we think we know.
Again these are long-term meanings for a short-term read. The Big medicine Wheel tells us that we have a sizable change coming our way. We might begin to see evidence of it today; it could even show up for some of us. The thing is this change, our new phase may not look like what we think it should or what we think we want. Even though we have grown and changed it can be difficult to let go of the beliefs and values of our past. It will be important to stay open to new possibilities and new points of view. Don’t be afraid to throw out old ways of thinking for a new perspective. The unexpected might be just what we need.
Today’s Universal Number
We have a Six Day today and this number is about relationships, service and responsibility. Keep in mind that while we are working to care for others we also have to care for ourselves. Use the energy of the day to ensure we are secure, centered and on the right path. If we don’t care for ourselves we won’t have anything left for the ones we love.
Today’s Crystals
I chose Amethyst and Tektite today. as we are transitioning from one phase of life to another we will need to be tuned into our intuition in order to know when to make a move. Amethyst is one of the best known and loved crystals for this purpose. Tektite is a high energy crystal that helps us tune in and connect with our guides and put things in perspective. It encourages spiritual growth and brings good luck.
