Do Overs

Remember the innocence of childhood
The games of baseball
where you had as many Do Overs
as needed to get a hit
because it was just fair!

Wouldn’t it be nice
if that sense of fairness
followed us into
adulthood?

Why does kindness and fair play
get squeezed out of people
when they are such
wonderful things?

This world doesn’t have to be a hard
place.
Love, Kindness and Fairness
are so easy.
