Trapped

Why is it that people choose to stay trapped in limiting thoughts about what one can and can’t achieve in their lifetime? To believe that you are so small, so insignificant that your very existence means nothing is sad, it’s so incorrect. Please believe You are so incredibly loved and You can achieve anything.

Every life on this planet has infinite value and potential. Yet we get trapped in the programming of other people’s limited expectations of life. It starts when we are young. We’re taught what life is and what we can and can’t do with it. From one generation to another these beliefs are passed on. I’m sure that it isn’t done with any kind of malice intended. It comes down to fear. At some point in the past someone dared to dream they could do or be something and for whatever reason that dream failed to happen. Leaving a disillusioned and brokenhearted person to believe that dreams don’t come true. When that person has children who dare to dream they are told to not try because it will never happen to people like us. After a few generations that belief turns into a programmed fear of even trying.

This is totally untrue, of course, and I don’t want to believe that someone would intentionally hold anyone back from trying to become the best version of themselves, but it happens everyday, all over the world. It’s sad to see people believe the lie.

But believing can be the most difficult part when we have been taught to fear. Don’t try, don’t take a chance, It’s not worth it, people like us don’t have that kind of luck, you have to be rich to do that. You aren’t smart enough, good enough, talented enough. On and on in many ways fear stops us. The truth is we live in a world of energy that is filled with nothing but endless possibility. Anyone can do or become whatever they choose. All that is required is that you believe in your dream more than you believe the lie of fear.

There are people, of course, who are perfectly happy living a life with no dreams, and that is fine if it’s the life they want. It’s not for me or anyone else to judge whether anyone dreams of a bigger life than they have or not. What is important is that if you believe in a dream for your future, don’t ever let fear trap you into giving up!

Do you believe in yourself? I do!

Blessed Be ❤ Sharon
