New Moon New Beginnings – A Reprise

In honor of this wonderful and powerful New Moon today I thought that I would bring back a post that I published in January of 2015. The New Moon is a great time to reasses your life and make needed changes. Here is the post slightly edited because I can still hear my college professor saying “Edit!”

Hello everyone!!

I made a comment on my personal Facebook page yesterday about the New Moon, that it is a good time for seeking answers. I had a friend ask what I was talking about, so I thought this is what I would talk about today. 🙂

The Godhead made everything to run in cycles. The Moon is no different. Every month on the New Moon we have an opportunity to re-evaluate, seek answers and begin again. The New Moon is the best time for seeking answers because the Moon is resting. The energy is calm and you can mentally and emotionally see clearer.

I keep a New Moon notebook. On the night of a New Moon I like to get a cup of tea or coffee and sit in a nice cozy spot where hopefully I won’t be disturbed. As I sit and relax I think about the changes I would like to make in my life. Then I take out the notebook, date the page and make two lists. The first is a list of things that no longer serve my highest good. These things I no longer want in my life and I need let them go. Then I make a list of things I want to bring into my life and I have to focus on manifesting these. I leave room in each list for a notation of when this change happens. I try to make each list brief, no more than 10 items.

The list becomes Marching Orders and there are two things I do with it. Keeping in mind that thoughts become reality I take a few minutes each day to focus on this list and imagine that the changes I seek are already here, now. I put my thought energy into letting go of what no longer serves me and bringing in what I need and want in my life. The second thing I do is turn the list over to my Guardian Angel and Spirit Guides. I tell them that this is what I need and these are their Marching Orders. Never be afraid to talk to your Angels and ask for their help. The Godhead gave them to you and they are here to help, except for emergencies, they can only do so when asked.

Now for seeking answers there are several ways to do this. I read Tarot Cards and Scry but for those that do not meditation is always a useful in seeking answers. It takes time and practice but it is well worth it because it is a wonderful tool for bringing peace and change to your life.

You can read Tarot Cards and Scry anytime during the month but the New Moon is the best time. I have clients I am reading for today as well as myself!
